Planning Solutions Consulting offers a marketing service for businesses in the tourism, heritage and recreation sectors. Our work is based upon experience gained whilst operating successful leisure businesses. We provide a retained marketing services to a number of heritage, tourism and leisure businesses.
Conkers, National Forest
Opening as the Heart of the National Forest Visitor Centre (in 1998) and operating as Conkers since 2001 we have provided the marketing service to promote this award winning attraction. We also manage the visitor satisfaction survey. We also managed the pre-opening marketing strategy.
National Brewery Centre, Burton upon Trent
We are advising on their strategic marketing strategy to target key groups including: members of the local community, tourists, members, specialist groups, education visitors and corporate users.
Supertubing Experience, Ebbw Vale
Our sister company has launched a new extreme adventure experience in Ebbw Vale and we have been advising on the pre and post opening marketing strategy and assisting with its implementation.
Harry Ramsden’s, Brighton
Since opening in 1999 we have been responsible for marketing this traditional seaside restaurant in Brighton. Harry Ramsden’s plays an important role in the ‘tourism product mix’ of Brighton.
Onboard TV Limited
Our sister company Planning Solutions Limited have set up Onboard TV Limited which produces television features, tourist information and adverts which are screened on wide screen televisions operating on the Wightlink car ferries and FastCats sailing between the mainland and the Isle of Wight. Annually the ferries and FastCats carry over 5 million passengers.

The Family Q-Book has been developed by East Midlands Tourism to help tourism businesses in the region understand today’s family market and how to attract these key markets. We were one of the contributors for specialist advice.
